There Is No Other God: A Reminder of Who Holds It All

Isaiah 43:10-13 (KJV)

“Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour. I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, that I am God. Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?”

In this world, with all its chaos, distractions, and false idols, it’s so easy to lose sight of the truth—there is only one God. There is no other savior, no one else who can deliver, no force greater than the Lord. Before Him, there was no other, and after Him, there will be no other. He is eternal, unchanging, and all-powerful.

A Truth That Cannot Be Changed

People try to find answers in everything but God. They put their faith in money, people, fame, success, even in themselves. But none of these things have the power to create, to sustain, to save. No man, no woman, no system, no spirit, no force—nothing can do what God does.

Isaiah 43:13 makes it clear: “Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?” That means when God moves, nobody can stop Him. When He speaks, no one can silence Him. When He calls you, no one can take that calling away.

If It Had Not Been for the Lord…

Let’s be real—if it wasn’t for God, where would we be? I know for a fact that without Him, I am nothing. Every breath I take, every opportunity I receive, every ounce of strength I have—it all comes from the Lord. The things I’ve built, the dreams I’ve pursued, the protection I’ve received from dangers I didn’t even see—it was all God.

There are times we think we’re in control, that we’re making things happen on our own. But let’s be honest—if God hadn’t made a way, there would be no way. If He hadn’t protected us, we wouldn’t even be here today. The enemy had plans for us, but God had greater plans.

Chosen Before We Even Arrived

Not only is God the only true God, but He also had a plan for us before we even entered this world. Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV) tells us:

“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”

That means before we even took our first breath, God had already set us apart. He had already chosen us, called us, and equipped us. Nothing about our life is by accident. We are not here by chance. We were placed on this earth by divine purpose, and that is something we should hold in the highest regard.

Stay Prayed Up & Keep the Faith

No matter what happens in this world—no matter what we see, hear, or experience—we must hold fast to our faith. We must stay prayed up and spiritually aware. The world will try to shake us, but God is our solid rock. We cannot be moved when we are rooted in Him.

Let nothing, and I mean nothing, shake your belief in the Lord. Not people, not circumstances, not struggles, not even yourself. God is everything. He is the beginning, the end, and everything in between. No one and nothing can take His place.

So today, let’s stand firm in this truth. There is no other God. There never has been, and there never will be. We are His witnesses, His chosen ones, and He is the only true Savior. Let’s live like we know that.
